Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol at a technology-focused site in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor access points, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with professional discretion, using a tablet for site operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports and logs.

• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
