Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Culpeper, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

The role requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology facility, including building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating observations and security-related concerns to site leadership.
