Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time - Customer Service in West Chester Township, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution site, delivering outstanding customer service with a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
