Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer in Westfield, Wisconsin. The role is full-time, with a weekday-only schedule and a starting wage of $16.00 per hour.

You will help protect client sites, perform access control, patrol premises, and report on safety and security issues. The position emphasizes customer service, alertness, and teamwork, with comprehensive training and company support to develop professionally within the field.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• HS diploma or GED or able to complete GED within 6 months.
• Able to interact calmly with diverse individuals.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with judgement.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
