Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Saint Louis, MO to patrol and protect a commercial real estate site. The role emphasizes customer service, a visible presence, and adherence to site policies.

You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activities while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and service. Previous security or driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report irregular conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

This primarily driving role includes conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring access points, and providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $20.62 / Hour

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
