What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
