Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Armed Security Officer (Armed Patrolling) in Harrisburg, PA. You will protect clients in various industries, perform armed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service.

As a Full Time Armed Security Officer Armed Patrolling in a corporate Setting in Harrisburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. Act 235 qualification is required.

Pay Rate: $23.35 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thu: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Act 235 Qualification (Pennsylvania Only): Candidates applying for positions that require the use of firearms or other weapons must possess a valid Act 235 certification. This certification indicates that the individual has completed the necessary training and meets the qualifications set forth by the Pennsylvania State Police.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
