Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Delaware, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across government locations, conducting patrols, monitoring areas, controlling access, and responding to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and government property.
• Prepare clear reports and logs for incidents and patrol observations.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, control access, respond to security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter concerns. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public service agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and government property.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
