Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:00 PMTue05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence, communicate observations to appropriate personnel, and complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
