Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol Surveillance in New Orleans, LA. You will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, and staff.

The role requires an armed guard card/license, a valid driver’s license, and being at least 21 years old. Day and evening shifts are available with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and vehicle access procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment per laws and policies; complete reports and shift documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the property, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and vehicle access procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures; complete accurate reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
