As a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO Patrol in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position combines customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment while helping residents and visitors feel supported. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the residential community, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
