Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) for Armed Bicycle Operations in Miami, FL. You will patrol on a bicycle, serve and protect at a government location, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents with professional communication and teamwork.

The role requires a valid security mindset, ability to ride a bike for extended periods, and willingness to undergo background checks, drug screens, and ongoing security training.

Qualifications

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Certification in handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and exiting restricted or controlled areas.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and other security-related observations.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Bicycle Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine bicycle patrols for extended periods, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
