Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour, Full Time

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Afternoons in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related procedures with integrity. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support site operations by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, following established vehicle access procedures, and completing required activity reports and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
