As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems in Richfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Control entry and exit at assigned gates, doors, and/or checkpoints; direct authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas; and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
