Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry/exit points, documenting visitor activity, and communicating access concerns to site contacts.
• Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points; support site procedures for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, yard, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points; support compliance with site procedures for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, yard, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
