Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Support in Spartanburg, SC to protect clients across financial institutions and more. You will monitor, deter incidents, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while working with site personnel.

The role requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma, plus background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Support in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution construction location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
