Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized entry and report security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and service requests.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
