Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and/or shipments as directed, reporting access‑control concerns or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and help address security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
