Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time access control at our Chino, CA site. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and assist visitors and employees while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a minimum of one year in security, proficiency with access-control systems, and a high school diploma. The shift schedule is daytime, with full-time hours and a competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site-specific access control procedures.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, shipping/receiving areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Controlin Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and assisting visitors and employees. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a professional site presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
