Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Security Officer for full-time, unarmed guarding at a client facility. Responsibilities include patrolling, escorting vendors/visitors, and enforcing access control. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and pass company pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.

Evening and overnight shifts are available. Compensation starts at $18 per hour, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (drug screen & background).
• Must stand/walk long periods (foot patrols).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have prior Law Enforcement, Military, or Security experience.
• Must be observant for CCTV surveillance duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premises rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Security Officer- Full time

Security Officers serve as a safeguard to the client's premises and a customer service representative, providing escort for vendors and visitors, conducting foot patrols, restricting access as required, and providing general security for the facility. This position is unarmed and not authorized to carry any weapons, ammunition or other protective gear and devices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premises rules and regulations
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Pay:

$18/hour.

May be asked to work overtime if needed

• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
