Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility entrances, production‑area exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, employee access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, directing individuals according to site procedures, and documenting entries and departures as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while observing for unusual conditions, property damage, or policy concerns and reporting them promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
