Join us as a Security Officer FT Rotating at Abrazo Health

We are seeking dedicated Security Officers to maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, patients, physicians, vendors, visitors, and students. Officers will monitor and patrol our facilities, demonstrate excellent customer service, and assist with disruptive incidents, emergency responses, personal protection, and traffic/parking management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol hospital premises to ensure safety and security
• Assist in emergency situations and manage disruptive incidents
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
• Operate security software, CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Prepare written reports and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service roles
• At least three years of progressively responsible experience or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary state licenses/certifications
• Physical ability to perform continuous exertion activities and wear protective equipment
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle crisis situations calmly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Crisis Intervention Certification (or ability to obtain within six months)
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
