Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for full-time and part-time shifts in New Jersey. The role involves protecting people and property, performing patrols, and providing professional customer service.

FT and PT

$19.00 an hour

Weekend availability for FT and PT shifts.

Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Mobile patrol/Foot Patrol

Position Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
