Job summary

American Security & Investigations in Edina, MN is seeking a Security Officer to patrol facilities and protect assets. The role includes monitoring access, investigating incidents, and enforcing rules during a 40-hour full-time night shift (Wednesday–Sunday) with additional weekend hours.

Prior security experience preferred and a pre-employment drug screen is required. The position offers hourly pay between $18.90 and $21.90, with daily or regular overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

• Physical requirements include walking, patrolling, climbing stairs and CPR.

Wednesday-Sunday 12am-8am (Full-time, 40 hours/week)

Saturday-Sunday: 12am-8am (Part-time, 16 hours/week)

Requirements

• You ++must++ be 18 years old
• For safety reasons, you ++must++be able to speak English
• You ++must++ have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR
• Previous security experience is required
