Job summary

American Security & Investigations in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a part-time Security Officer for nights to protect buildings and facilities. The role features a 16-hour weekly schedule, Friday and Saturday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with an hourly rate of $20.10.

You will patrol, respond to alarms, secure entry points, report hazards, and deliver high levels of customer service. Requirements include minimum age 21, English proficiency, valid driver's license and clean driving record, pass background

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and CPR.
• Previous security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings, facilities, or work sites to deter hazards and ensure safety.
• Investigate and report hazards or suspicious activity.
• Secure doors, windows, and access points as needed.
• Enforce rules and regulations of the premises.
• Respond to alarms in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service to occupants and visitors.
