Job Overview

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting hospitality-driven Security Guards for 3rd shift full-time positions with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff, visitors, and community property, verifying scheduled presence of employees and contractors, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities
  1. Makes scheduled rounds inside and outside the buildings to ensure security.
  2. Responds to fire alarms and emergency calls.
  3. Builds rapport with residents, visitors, and staff to meet security needs.
  4. Assists with security needs involving community members.
  5. Provides written reports on incidents during shifts.
  6. Maintains safe entry points and clears walkways during snowstorms.
  7. Performs duties as prioritized by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English, with effective communication skills.
  3. Ability to make quick decisions per protocol.
  4. Willingness to undergo first responder and first aid training.
  5. One-year security experience preferred.
  6. Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and compliance regulations.
  7. Works effectively in a team environment.
