Job summary

Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL seeks a proactive Security Officer to protect guests, teammates and property while delivering warm, personalized service that aligns with our hospitality standards and premium resort experience.

You will patrol the premises, verify identifications, respond to calls, prepare incident reports, maintain logs, and collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure safety and exceptional guest care across all resort venues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must obtain Class D Security License within 30 days of employment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Security experience of at least 1 year preferred; luxury resort experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, run and walk for long periods; capable of repetitive motions.
• Comfortable with Florida weather conditions; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of resort events, dining options, and hours.
• Provide exceptional customer service while verifying identifications of guests, members, and visitors entering property.
• Perform a wide range of security functions including patrolling, incident reports, responding to calls, and assisting guests, members, and employees.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club procedures and policies.
• Partner with HR for incident reports and investigations.
• Verify authorized entry verbally and visually for personnel requesting access.
• Verify identification of residents, guests or visitors if not known by face and name.
• Inspect safety, cleanliness and preparedness of assignment before accepting post.
• Complete facility or vehicle inspection reports at shift changes.
• Maintain a pass-down log of information for posts and patrols.
• Record and review pass-on materials, emails or faxes into the log.
• Keep a mandatory pass-down log to ensure awareness of activities affecting operations.
• Maintain logs of gate access and items in care, such as mail and keys.
• Conduct visual and physical surveys of unoccupied areas and construction sites.
• Respond to calls for service as requested.
• Inspect property and patrol roadways; document patrols with logs.
• Assist with traffic and safety enforcement on property.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.

Job Title : Security Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of resort events, dining options, outlet hours, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service while verifying identification of all guests, members, and visitors entering property
• Perform a wide range of security functions including, but not limited to, patrolling, incident reports, responding to calls, assisting guests, members, and employees, etc.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
• Partner with HR for incident reports, investigations, etc.
• Inquire verbally and visually of any personnel requesting access to the property to validate their authorized entry into the property. Officers are to verify identification of a resident, guest or visitor if they do not know them by face and name.
• Inspect the safety, cleanliness and preparedness of the assignment (Gatehouse, Patrol Vehicle or Security Office) prior to accepting the post from the Officer you are relieving. Each shift change will complete a facility or vehicle inspection report and turn it in to the Site Manager.
• Each post and patrol will maintain a pass down log to report critical information concerning that post or patrol. Security Officers will record and review all printed pass-on materials, emails or faxes, etc. into a pass down log. This log is mandatory for all post and is intended to insure Officer’s awareness of activities that may impact operations or the security of the property.
• Maintain an accurate and complete log of all gate access and any items placed in the Officer’s care, such as, mail, packages, keys, etc.
• Conduct visual and physical surveys of unoccupied residents and construction sites documenting the patrols using the patrol verification system.
• Respond to calls for service as requested.
• Conduct physical inspection of the property, facility and building and patrol the roadways of the property. Document the patrols using the patrol log and patrol verification system.
• Assist with providing traffic and safety enforcement of vehicles driving on property
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.

• English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
