Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Front Desk Services in Jacksonville, FL, for a part-time role. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity and provide excellent customer service using computer/tablet systems. The position pays $17.48 per hour with Saturday and Sunday shifts.

The role requires a CPO certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a transportation facility by following site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify designated site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain awareness of activity at entry points and help to deter unauthorized access by following established security-related policies.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
