Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Front Desk Security Officer for overnight shifts in Springfield, OH. This role greets visitors, manages access, and supports a safe, professional environment at a technology, media, and telecom location.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour and a full-time schedule. You will provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, monitor entry activity, document logs, respond calmly to incidents, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and direct guests according to site procedures.
• Monitor visitor entry activity, maintain logs and records, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional environment by answering inquiries, managing calls, and assisting with administrative front-desk duties as assigned.

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
