Job summary

Allied Universal in Stockton, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Services to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site and earn more by picking up additional shifts. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes days and nights on weekends.

This role offers anchor shifts plus a buy‑up shifts program to build experience while maintaining part‑time hours. Ideal candidates will have security‑related experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and be 18+

Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the food and beverage distribution location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Observe truck, trailer, and delivery activity at designated areas, report irregularities, and follow site procedures for access control and incident reporting.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
