UCLA Health is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets, staff, patients, and visitors across UCLA Medical Centers and affiliated sites. You will perform patrols, document incidents, and enforce policies under supervision. Must maintain Guard Card, DOJ Chemical Agent, CPR, driver’s license, and BLS certification.
Position is fully on-site with shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays; training provided to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Under supervision, Security Officers protect and guard all assets, staff, patients, and visitors in and around the Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley UCLA Medical Centers, Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Medical Plazas, the Center for Health Sciences, Ambulatory Clinics, and the Mid-Wilshire property. Security Officers perform regular patrols and document all routine activities, incidents, and other duties as assigned. Security Officers enforce all policies and state laws, and follow all guidelines including state regulatory agency requirements. Incumbent must possess and maintain current certification in a California Guard Card, D.O.J. Chemical Agent, CPR training and driver’s license.
Salary range: $28.63-$36.41 Hourly

Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
