DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, contractor documentation, and delivery appointments in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, employee entrances, and visitor areas; document access activity, irregularities, and incidents according to established procedures.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated facility areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
