Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation may be required by law.
• Background checks conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and surrounding spaces.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations and report observations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site emergency procedures.
• Document patrol activities and communicate with site contacts and leadership as needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation location visitors, passengers, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, transit‑adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas, as applicable.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific emergency response procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and relevant observations accurately and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
