Job summary

United Protective Services in San Antonio, TX is seeking dependable Security Officers for coverage at multiple properties throughout the San Antonio area. This as-needed role offers pay at $16.00 per hour and a schedule that varies weekly, with shifts including weekends and early mornings.

You will conduct patrols, deter trespassing, monitor properties, enforce rules, and report incidents. We welcome students and others who are reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently in different

Qualifications

Strong attendance and punctuality required.
Willingness to work at different locations when needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professionalism and reliability in all interactions.
Familiarity with access control systems or visitor management software is a plus.
Security experience in office buildings, commercial properties, or Class A environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by golf cart.
Maintain a visible presence to deter trespassing, theft, and other unwanted activity.
Monitor assigned properties and report unusual or suspicious activity.
Enforce property rules and site procedures.
Interact professionally with tenants, residents, visitors, and vendors.
Respond to incidents and notify management or emergency services when necessary.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and on time.
