Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Branch Rotation in New York, NY. The role covers patrols across diverse sites with irregular shifts and 30–40 hours per week, offering growth opportunities within a leader in the security industry.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions; loitering or forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
