Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Flex Branch Rotation in New York, NY. Expect 30-40 hours weekly with a mix of manager-assigned shifts and self-scheduled options, across various sites, adapting to client needs.

You will patrol, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and file detailed reports while assisting clients and colleagues with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security or safety concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department in emergencies.
• Control access by verifying authorized entry to properties.
• Observe and protect company property from theft.
• Investigate accidents/incidents; maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
