Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Retail Flex in Houston, TX. This role uses our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts across multiple sites, offering flexibility and hands-on experience in Healthcare, Education, Finance and more.

The position pays $15.00 per hour and requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
