Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in the Metro Atlanta region. The role requires adapting to varying sites and duties, including customer service, patrols, and surveillance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have open availability to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Minimum 3 years of experience across security functions: access control, patrols, CCTV, or warehouse security.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging and access control.
• Operate CCTV, alarm and visitor management systems to maintain site security.
• Monitor facility access points including gates, loading docks and restricted areas.
• Verify credentials, shipments and visitor authorizations before granting access.
• Conduct interior patrols and address security concerns.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Responsibilities for a Response Security Guard: (Duties varies per site)

• Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging activities, ensuring compliance with access control policies and security procedures.
• Operate and monitor access control, CCTV, alarm, and visitor management systems to maintain site security.
• Monitor and control facility access points, including truck gates, loading docks, and restricted areas.
• Verify credentials, shipments, deliveries, and visitor authorizations prior to granting access.
• Conduct interior patrols of warehouse, distribution, and office areas to identify and address security concerns.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for a Response Security Guard:

• MUST be 21 years OR older with a Valid Driver's License/ Clean Driving Record.
• Must possess open availability and flexibility to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments as operational needs require.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in multiple security functions and environments, including access control, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, customer-facing security, warehouse security, truck gate operations, or similar security assignments; preferred.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• Open work schedule availability preferred.
