GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a responsive Security Officer – Response to join our team in the Metro Atlanta region. The role varies by site, including customer service, patrols and surveillance, with a focus on agility and precise execution.

Responsibilities include access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting while ensuring safety and quality service. The position requires flexibility to work all shifts and a drive for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Open availability to work all shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays).
• Minimum 3 years of security experience in multiple functions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass extensive screening process.
• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee, contractor and visitor badging per access policies.
• Operate access control, CCTV, alarm and visitor systems.
• Monitor facility access points including gates and docks.
• Verify credentials and shipments before granting access.
• Conduct interior patrols across warehouse and offices.
• Respond quickly to incidents and threats.
• Provide customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed event/incidence reports.
• Collaborate with authorities in serious situations.
• Ensure safety of people and property.

As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY (able to work any day and all shifts) is required. 24-40 HRS per week. (Hours per week Varies).

Responsibilities for a Response Security Guard: (Duties varies per site)

• Manage employee, contractor, and visitor badging activities, ensuring compliance with access control policies and security procedures.
• Operate and monitor access control, CCTV, alarm, and visitor management systems to maintain site security.
• Monitor and control facility access points, including truck gates, loading docks, and restricted areas.
• Verify credentials, shipments, deliveries, and visitor authorizations prior to granting access.
• Conduct interior patrols of warehouse, distribution, and office areas to identify and address security concerns.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For a Response Security Guard

• MUST be 21 years OR older with a Valid Driver's License/ Clean Driving Record.
• Must possess open availability and flexibility to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments as operational needs require.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in multiple security functions and environments, including access control, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, customer-facing security, warehouse security, truck gate operations, or similar security assignments; preferred.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• Open work schedule availability preferred.
