Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials, and document activities and patrols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders to maintain a safe environment.

As a Security Officer Flexible Patrol Compliance in Symmes Twp, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
