Job summary

Nu Skin is hiring a Full-time Security Officer in Provo, UT to protect people, property, and proprietary information. The role includes training for Core Security Certifications (CPR/First Aid, Control Center) and Nu Skin-specific certifications, patrolling the campus, recording incidents, and responding to emergencies.

You’ll monitor the Control Center, secure all exits, and stay current with Nu Skin policies; flexibility to work day, swing, and night shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to enforce policy while maintaining courteous conduct.
• Clear spoken and written English; proficient with computers, notes, phones, radios.
• Digital literacy and basic tech familiarity.
• Ability to follow orders and work as part of a team.
• Physical capability for security tasks (climbing stairs, movement).
• Willingness to work day, swing, and night shifts year-round, including holidays.
• Respect and protect confidential information.
• Professional grooming and security dress standards required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must complete pre-employment screening (drug test and background).
• High School education preferred; 0–2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete classroom training to acquire Core Security Certifications (CPR/First Aid, Control Center, HazMat).
• Complete Nu Skin-specific certifications via Field Training Officer.
• Patrol campus to ensure safety and security of people, property, and information.
• Prepare activity and incident reports documenting safety concerns.
• Respond to security emergencies and medical situations and take appropriate action.
• Monitor Control Center Operations and respond appropriately.
• Secure exits, doors and windows after operations.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Learn and stay current with Nu Skin policies and procedures.
