Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico, seeks a Security Officer to protect the venue, staff, guests, and artwork. You will patrol interiors and exteriors, enforce policies, report incidents, and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

This role offers flexible evening and weekend shifts; candidates must be 18+, with at least 1 year in security and strong communication. The position requires working on-site and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security.
• Proficiency in English, verbal, and writing.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Must have previous computer experience and write incident reports.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience in entertainment/hospitality environment preferred.
• High School or GED graduate.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, incident, and supplemental reports for day-to-day tasks.
• Monitor and enforce company rules, policies, and laws.
• Control guests entering and exiting the venue.
• Interact with guests and employees professionally; engage with local law enforcement as needed.
• Respond to injuries or illnesses with First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
• Respond to emergencies including fires and medical events.
• Direct evacuations during emergencies and assist guests as needed.
• Escort security vendors/employees with money pickups/drop-offs.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and appearance as required.
• Provide friendly guest service and professional conduct at all times.
