Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Flex Tech Corporation Patrol in New York, NY. The role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and an option to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $25.55-$26.55 per hour, with a base day-evening schedule and potential to scale to more hours. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident response, and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $25.55 - $26.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:31 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
