Allied Universal is seeking Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol Availability in Maitland, FL. Work 30–40 hours weekly with variable shifts and self-scheduling via Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift.

Shifts and locations change to meet client needs, offering opportunities for growth within a leading security company. The role requires a HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be willing to travel the required distance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary according to site Post Orders.
