Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Maitland, FL to patrol designated areas, monitor for security concerns, and respond to emergencies. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with shifts that vary week to week and a self-scheduling program.

Pay rate is $17.55 per hour. Eligible candidates should have a valid driver’s license, be able to work irregular shifts, and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites.
• Willing to accept last-minute shift scheduling.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities in case of emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
