Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Patrol in Elizabethtown, PA. This unarmed, part-time role involves patrols, access control, and incident response at a Food Processing location and other sites.

Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeters to deter security threats.
• Control access at designated points by verifying credentials and monitoring deliveries and contractor activity.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance observations; communicate updates to site management.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a Food Processing location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests from guests, and staff. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and support access control and incident reporting. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor access per site policy, monitoring deliveries and contractor activity, and reporting irregularities.


• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance observations, and communicate relevant updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
