Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Fremont, CA to provide reliable security and customer service at a healthcare location. You will work a fixed anchor shift (Wed 10:00 PM–06:00 AM) with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, responding to incidents, and documenting reports. Requirements include a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; prior security or customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly following location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity.

As a Security Officer in Fremont, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed – 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
