Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Visibility in Fremont, CA. This flexible role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour. The schedule includes DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM and Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, with a fixed shift and an opportunity to grow through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access to site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities in required reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Visibility in Fremont, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
