Job Description
Allied Universal has security jobs and is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer in Richmond, Virginia. The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.36/hour
Full-Time Flex Position
2+ Years of Prior Security, Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military Experience Required
Active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security License Preferred

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and meet insurance requirements
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen
• Must be available to work any time and day, covering multiple locations and shifts
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Physical requirements include working in various environments, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs or ladders, and standing or walking for long periods
