Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay starts at $20.60 per hour. The position requires a valid driver's license, at least 6 months in security, and a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and escorts as needed in a healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
